HIPP Design + Consulting is expanding its architecture department and doing so in a demonstrative fashion. Mark Reyer, AIA, is a LEED accredited professional, and member of the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB). Mark, a senior architect, who graduated from North Carolina State University’s College of Design, is bringing years of experience to the team and a fresh vision for their clients.
Reyer has been designing in the area for many years and has profoundly impacted the architectural community around the region. As a longtime member and influential figure in the American Institute of Architects, HIPP expects an uptick in dynamic collaboration for their architectural project delivery.
As the company’s vision expands, HIPP is excited to add Reyer to the existing team that includes the dynamic young talent of Lindsey Van Tassel and Gray Hipp, RA. This new addition solidifies a strong foundation for the discipline to build on over the next few years as the company pursues projects in the healthcare industry and other markets.
Gray Hipp added, "I am excited that Mark is joining our team. Mark’s 30-year history of design excellence and experience with healthcare as well as pharmaceutical clients aligns with our vision to support our current clients while expanding our services to meet the needs of healthcare providers. In addition to his professional experience, his passion for mentoring the next generation of architects is what excites me even more. As our team continues to grow, we look forward to Mark’s contributions both professionally and personally to our team."
Reyer has diverse portfolio experience, including corporate, institutional, healthcare, science/technology, and higher education projects. His ability to effectively communicate with clients, understanding their goals and objectives, greatly complements his design expertise. He remains an active member of the Triangle Section of the American Institute of Architects. Several of his previous projects have received local, state, and regional awards from the organization.
Mark added the following, “I’m excited to join the HIPP team and leverage my 30+ years of designing a variety of project types to create thoughtful building solutions for our clients – using this experience to engage the project team in finding simple, artful ways to solve the unique problems that enhance our clients’ built-environments and business success. I’m also looking forward to the opportunity to help grow the architectural team at HIPP, mentoring younger staff and adding value to the design process.”
HIPP is positioned for powerful growth and industry impact in the years ahead. Their portfolio experience, coupled with strong leaders and the emerging talent they possess, is expected to open doors to expansion in the region and around the world. The firm provides engineering, architectural, and high-tech facility design services for the world’s leading manufacturing companies. With the architecture team taking shape, their impact on the healthcare market is sure to follow.
