Our team in Raleigh, Greenville and remotely, saw that vision come to life as we partnered with Operation Christmas Child, a project of Samaritan’s Purse. Operation Christmas Child exists to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world. Samaritan’s Purse demonstrates that tangible love by sending millions of shoeboxes full of gifts, toys, and letters around the world. Many children have never heard the story of Christmas or had the opportunity to celebrate its powerful meaning. Operation Christmas Child exists to convey the power of God’s love in the Christmas story. Hearing stories of how these boxes have impacted so many children from different backgrounds motivated us at HIPP to see it multiplied. We came to the realization that a simple shoebox can be transformed into a conduit of love, joy, and celebration. With that in mind, our team exceeded all of our goals and expectations as a company over the last few weeks!
This was our second year participating in the initiative and we set an initial goal of packing 100 boxes and raising $1,000 dollars. We were blown away by our team's generosity and we are excited to announce that we completed 230 boxes and raised $2,450 dollars! We are excited to see how these efforts will serve Samaritan’s Purse and children around the world. It is amazing to watch this initiative grow and it is an honor to be part of the process.
We firmly believe that no matter where you are or what you are doing, you can leverage your position to impact people. The past few weeks have been a great reminder that our work empowers us to serve others and offer hope to a hurting world.
