Our team had an amazing time in Wilmington, NC, for the North Carolina Healthcare Engineers Association (NCHEA) Annual Conference last week. Throughout the event, we had the opportunity to connect with many across the healthcare industry, engage with great presentations, and plan for dynamic collaborations in the near future. Overall, we left inspired to continue our pursuit of excellence and serving clients with even greater precision in the healthcare industry.
Representatives from our Architecture and Business Development teams attended the conference. The exhibition time allowed us to share our story and the services we provide within the healthcare industry. It was great to reconnect with old friends while also introducing new connections to the work we do here at HIPP Design + Consulting. During this time, we built rapport and learned from leaders at other companies about emerging opportunities within the healthcare industry.
NCHEA provides technical and management professional growth for its members, which was evident throughout the conference. NCHEA equips organizations across the industry to overcome challenges and think critically about cutting-edge solutions. We were impressed by the work NCHEA put into this gathering and the attention to detail at every turn. They care about the future of the healthcare industry in our state and equip leaders to drive innovation at every level.
One session was especially inspiring as the UNC Health Blue Ridge team shared about their successful completion of a new patient tower during the COVID pandemic. In addition to the challenges of the pandemic, the team dealt with several other difficult circumstances, from the escalating costs to the change in corporate ownership of the facility and end-user transitions. This anecdote highlighted the importance of perseverance and problem-solving. This session proved NCHEA’s commitment to empowering organizations in overcoming future challenges.
We look forward to continuing our partnership with NCHEA and investing in the ecosystem of business relationships they have created. The future of healthcare in North Carolina is bright, and we are honored to be a part of it. Our vision is rooted in service, and it was amazing to be around other organizations this past week who share this conviction. As we continue to build momentum at HIPP, we are certain that the connections we made at NCHEA will play an integral role.
