Process Engineer I

Overview:
At HIPP Design + Consulting, Process Engineers design process systems for industrial facilities and specialize in the design of systems for pharmaceutical and biotechnology plants from conceptual to detailed design.
Responsibilities + Tasks:
Responsibilities and tasks include, but are not limited to the following:
• Piping P&ID development
• Process flow diagram preparation
• Pipe sizing
• Equipment selection
• Process calculations
• Equipment selection
• Piping details preparation
• Equipment general arrangement development
• Pressure relief sizing and specification
• Code interpretation
• Onsite field verification
• Participation in project interdisciplinary coordination meetings
• Collaborating with team members to prepare process utility bases of design and narratives
• Provide onsite client support as needed
Qualifications:
• College Degree or equivalent experience
• F.E. certification preferred
• 0-5 years of design firm experience
• Up to 2 years of CAD and/or Revit exposure preferred
• Intermediate proficiency in Word, Excel, Powerpoint
